New Zealand Local Government Funding Agency (LGFA) received the Institute of Financial Professionals New Zealand (INFINZ) - Craig’s Investment Partners Excellence in Treasury award at the annual INFINZ awards in Auckland last Thursday 19th May 2016.

Mark Butcher in accepting the award on behalf of LGFA noted that it was pleasing to see the agency being recognised for its achievements over the four-year period since establishment.

He further acknowledged the strong support of staff and assistance from many organisations over that time, noting that the success of the agency is a positive example of Central and Local Government working together to achieve better outcomes for New Zealand.

This is the second award for LGFA this year with Mark Butcher also being named the KangaNews New Zealand Treasurer of the Year in February 2016.
