Press Release: LGFA Credit Rating Affirmed by Standard and Poors' at 'AA+/A-1+'

LGFA CREDIT RATING AFFIRMED BY STANDARD AND POORS AT 'AA+/A-1+' AND REMOVED FROM UNDER CRITERIA OBSERVATION

On 23 May 2018 Standard and Poor's (S&P) published its new methodology for rating non-US public-sector funding agencies, which are specialised not-for-profit institutions established to secure and provide cost-efficient funding to public sector entities in their domicile country. S&P placed the short and long-term credit ratings of ten institutions, including LGFA, under criteria observation (UCO) due to the change in methodology.

S&P have now completed the review of the ratings of LGFA and have affirmed the 'AA+' long-term local currency, 'AA' long-term foreign currency and 'A-1+' short-term issuer credit rating on LGFA and removed the ratings from UCO.
