On Monday 4 December 2023, KangaNews announced the results of their annual awards and LGFA is delighted to have received five awards. The awards are based upon polling of hundreds of Australian and New Zealand market participants including issuers, investors, and intermediaries.
In the sixteen-year history of the Awards, no issuer has previously received five awards in a single year. The awards for LGFA partly recognised our NZ$1.1 billion issuance of a world first Sustainable Financing Bond and our successful A$1 billion inaugural bond issuance into the Australian debt market.
We wish to thank our investors, intermediaries, and market participants for their support over 2023 and look forward to working with you in 2024 to meet the borrowing needs of New Zealand councils and CCOs.
