On 27 February 2020, S&P Global Ratings affirmed the LGFA Local Currency rating of "AA+/A-1+" and LGFA Foreign Currency credit rating of "AA/A-1+" and both ratings remain on positive outlook.
S&P Global Ratings note that “the ratings on LGFA are underpinned by new Zealand’s excellent institutional settings and wealth economy, as well as LGFA’s dominant market position and robust management and governance.”
