LGFA considers bond offers
New Zealand Local Government Funding Agency Limited (LGFA) is considering, subject to market conditions, making offers in relation to two or three of the following existing series of unsecured, unsubordinated fixed rate bonds, each of which is already quoted on the NZX Debt Market.
The particular series being considered have the maturity dates and associated NZX ticker codes set out below:
a) 15 April 2024, NZX ticker code LGF100; and/or
b) 15 April 2026, NZX ticker code LGF120; and/or
c) 15 May 2028, NZX ticker code LGF150; and/or
d) 15 May 2031, NZX ticker code LGF140,
together, the 'Bonds', to institutional and New Zealand retail investors.
It is anticipated that full details of any relevant offer(s) will be released next week, when the relevant offer(s) are expected to open. If LGFA decides to proceed with any relevant offer(s), LGFA will cancel the proposed tender that is scheduled to occur on 11 April 2022.
LGFA will hold a global investor conference call at 2:00 pm NZT on Friday, 1 April 2022 and a second global investor conference call for the United Kingdom and European markets at 9:00 pm NZT on Friday, 1 April 2022. Details are outlined below.

LGFA has appointed Bank of New Zealand as the Arranger and a Joint Lead Manager and ANZ Bank New Zealand Limited as a Joint Lead Manager in relation to any relevant offer(s) of the Bonds.
Investors can register their interest in the offer(s) by contacting a Joint Lead Manager as detailed below, or their financial advice provider. Indications of interest will not constitute an obligation or commitment of any kind.
No money is currently being sought and applications for the Bonds cannot currently be made. If LGFA offers any Bonds, each offer will be made in accordance with the Financial Markets Conduct Act 2013 as an offer of debt securities of the same class as existing quoted debt securities.
